The above is what happens when I learn about massive open online courses (MOOCs), sign up for three of them through Coursera, start a Tumblr blog as part of an assignment for the statistics course, decide that I don't like the looks of the Tumblr, fiddle around inexpertly with HTML for a couple of hours, learn a very tiny bit about changing the code for colors and header images, learn that I can copy/paste all sorts of novel things into my HTML that will probably come back to bite me in the ass in a month or so when I become more dependent on the blog for assignments rather than personal recreation, crop a screen shot of the Picasa photo scroll from the series I snapped in October, and upload it to my poor, neglected DnB blog solely because I don't know how to put an image into HTML code unless it is a URL. I don't even know what JavaScript is. I think it has something to do with HTML.
Thanks a lot, Coursera.
I have two other, more lucid, posts from February gathering dust in here. My mom visited for a pair of weeks, and I haven't posted much. I'll get right to it.
My sister had a beautiful, precocious baby girl! |
Mom touched the North Sea, and it was cold! |
Ed petted five more cats! At least! |
This medium-sized local 10k made me look like I won the Olympics! |
